Cheap martinis! Kinda sweet. Had the cider mill sandwich. Was good. Said I didn't want cheese. Was on it anyway! Tried the coconut shrimp app. Very flavorful! Would come back again!

I've been here once and didn't have a great experience. Food was just Okay. My boyfriend ordered steak and lobster. The steak wasn't cooked to correct doneness and his lobster came out mushy. The bar is nice but overall, the restaurant is too crowded for the amount of people they had in there.

Have been here before, food is great as usual. Only issue was our meal took awhile to cook and our server missed little details like bringing place settings for our table. We have had great service here before and the food is wonderful so will return but want another server

The food is fairly priced and primarily very well prepared. A good amount of vegetarian options are available, my favourite is the spinach artichoke dip. However, every steak my mother has ordered from there comes out underdone or overdone.

My wife and I frequent Harvey's, and there are many positives, which I'll list first in no particular order: - The staff is solid...knowledgable, courteous and visible. - The bar/drinks are very good. I recommend the Harvey's Ale, and they have other good drink specials available. - Happy hour appetizers! My favorites are the boneless wings and the spinach and artichoke dip. We often just get a couple of apps and drinks and leave satisfied! - Solid variety of entrees....my 2 favorites are the Thai-glazed salmon or the Philly cheese steak (tip: ask for the grilled wrap version). The negatives are not show-stoppers, but I always try to balance my reviews with pros and cons: - Parking is sad....the lot is too small and so is the restaurant....don't sit in the bar area if you're claustrophobic. - I try to get here by 5 o'clock because I don't like standing around and waiting ( that's just me). Overall, Harvey's is a GREAT choice in Bay City.....make sure you join the Harvey's Rewards club.....unless, that is, you don't like free desserts on your birthday or anniversary!

Cleanliness...1 Food...3 Service...5 Price...4 Atmosphere...2 This Harvey's is old and needs to be redone...The carpet is old and gross...It smells when you walk thru the door like old rotten food...Hard to enjoy the food when it smells and the tables are sticky...Our service was good but unless they remodel I will not be back.

One of the few times Yelp has steered me wrong. Went here on a short road trip, and a little out of the way to hit a place yelp said would be good. Unfortunately it is nothing to write home about. It seemed like an applebees imitation... and poorly done. Which says a lot considering Applebees is horrible.

Had a nice dinner there one evening. The fish is fresh and done in house and you can tell the difference. My wife and I were very impressed by our dinners. Service was good. The only thing we noticed that wasn't a big deal but the bar patrons can be a little loud. Worth the effort to eat here.

The atmosphere was wonderful with a wide menu selection. The pot stickers were the best I've ever had! And my husband really enjoyed this sword fish. The semi-outdoor dining space is the perfect place to eat in the summer time. Overall a great experience.

Went back to Harvey's. Haven't been back since we walked out last year because they did not have prime steaks. I received a wonderful letter from the manager about my previous review. She sent me a complimentary meal card. Yesterday about 25 of our church members decided to go to Harvey's for lunch. Just about everyone had ordered different items from the menu. We had several children with us also. Everything looked delicious and after everyone ate you could tell the food was good because most plates were empty or some took part of their Food home. It was very crowded when we arrived. We were sent to the veranda which was completely enclosed. Most of our group complained about the heat, which was extremely warm. Even though several fans were on low. ***Getting to the food. Every person was pleased with their food and the orders were generally a good size. My husband had a huge Cobb salad. He said it was very good.

Love their martini's, especially the effen cucumber! My favorite. Food is yummy also and I love the outdoor seating, when it's nice out.

Great service and food! Courtney was my server at the bar and was very helpful in choosing a sandwich and beer for lunch. She was knowledgable of the beers on tap and the menu. Harvey's has a great selection of beers on tap. I ordered the philly steak and cheese. It was very good. Onions were a bit overdone, but was very tasty. Harvey's has a nice atmosphere and cozy feel. I would like to stop by for dinner sometime. I will definitely make this my stop for now on when I pass thru Midland.

Food was so-so, ordered mini crab cakes appetizer which lacked flavor, BBQ Chicken wrap was ok, fries were too salty. Server was polite and efficient. Overall, not great, not bad but so so.

My boyfriend and I were on our way Up North when we googled restaurants in Bay City, the town we were approaching. Harvey's was one of the first ones that came up and the reviews looked good so we decided to try it out. It's about a 10 minute drive from I-75. We arrived at about 7:30, and had to wait maybe 25 minutes for a table. The hostess(es) were very welcoming and friendly. We got a seat at the bar within 5 minutes, and decided to stay there for dinner. Our waitress, we didn't get her name, was the bartender, and she was really friendly and funny. We both ordered burgers; I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was pretty darn good. The fries could have been crunchier, but maybe it was just the bottom of the batch or something. We both got beers which were really good. The food took about 15 minutes, pretty standard timing. The other bartender, who was also supposed to be taking care of us, forgot silverware when we asked for it, but we barely interacted with him. The girl who took care of us was very very good, got us the silverware immediately after asking. They don't have very many beers on tap, only like 4 or 5, but they have an extensive margarita/martini/cocktail menu, and the martinis ranged from 4-7 dollars in price, pretty cheap if you ask me, and they seemed to be popular. The bar and restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but I did not find that it made me feel claustrophobic at all; it was very nicely laid out. One of the two stalls in the ladies room did not work, and the other one didn't flush very well. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and I definitely will return if in the Bay City area, or happen to be passing by and hungry.

One of the more inconsistent places we frequent semi-regularly. The food is usually quite good, but the service has varied from good to terrible. One visit with a group of 6 a year ago was awful. I wasn't even served after 45 minutes, and although the manager said she'd "make it right", she never returned. But many prior visits were totally enjoyable (although in groups of 2 or 4).

Harvey's was a pleasant dining experience, tasty food and nice wait staff. Probably the nicest restaurant in the area but I've only been here a week? Busy most every evening, does anyone eat at home any more?

Our visit to Harvey's was a mixed bag. We waited at the bar until a table was ready, and the bartender was very short with us even though it wasn't that busy and we ordered very simple drinks. He made my drink wrong and snapped at me when I asked if he could fix it (all it required was adding one missing component). Luckily we were seated shortly after, and our waitress was the polar opposite- very friendly and very attentitive. The food review: The mozzarella bites had a cute presentation in a martini glass but were bland. The strip steak had a lot of fat on it and didn't have much flavor. The side of broccoli was ok, but tasted like frozen broccoli or over-steamed fresh broccoli. The blackened cajun grouper with wild rice was very, very good. Whatever sauce they use on the rice is delicious. The cajun seasoning on the grouper wasn't overwhelming, and the grouper was cooked well. The side garden salad was a little meh, just one small wedge of tomato, a couple slices of onion and some cheese. We'll likely go back because I really enjoyed the fish entree, but it seems like the menu may be hit or miss on quality/taste.

The Bay City location is A LOT smaller than the Saginaw location. It's still really nice inside, it just tends to feel really cramped when it's busy. My last experience was pretty good. Our waitress was stellar, she had such a great personality and joked around with us. She brought my drinks quickly and gave my friend crap for me for being 45 minutes late. When the manager came around, and my friend found he left his coupon at home, the manager honored it still. Pretty cool. The food was delicious. Well. Their food has always been pretty good here, I've never had a bad experience.

Great pickles, we have been here many times and the food and service is always top notch!

Great food at a great price. Managers are very visible and actually come to your table to see how things are going. Even if the food was bad the service more than makes up for it.

Fairly pricey if you consider the portion size. It's more of an upscale style of dining with a lot if focus on presentation. I'm kind of a big eater. Left still hungary a few times.

Great lunch. Fantastic server. (Joshua) We shared the large fish & chips with chipotle sauce & the cordon bleu sandwich. Yummy!

We have eaten here many many times and feel it is one of the better restaurants in Bay City. Service is good and the food is very good. Had a marginal meal at one point and it was promptly taken care of. One of my favorite restaurants to go to. Would recommend going. Note: They honor Veterans on Veterans day; with a free entree for the vet with proof of service. Very honorable.

Very over priced and not very good food either....for the price, I mean. The serivice wasn't very good, I will not go back. Oh, yeah....server dumped ranch on my husbands pants on his b-day and no free food or anything for that type of accident :(

Good fries and really cold beer. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Service has always been good. Like the heated tent seating in the winter. Menu needs revamping

Small inside, but they make up for it with the food and service. Had the Parmesan encrusted walleye, best I have ever had.

The service was pretty good for how packed it was in there. However, I wasn't too impressed with my meal. I had a bland Cajan Chicken Pasta with a side order of fries that were soggy... The best thing i had was a cup of the potato, bacon, and cheddar soup.

Food is amazing! I've been here a few times and have yet to find anything I don't like. The Philly is one of my favorites. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is always warm which is a bonus in the winter and it is quiet enough to have a conversation with the people at your table. Will definitely be returning.

One of my favorite restaurants! The Cherry BBQ Burger is probably the best burger I have ever had. Staff is always friendly and isn't ever too loud when I have gone.

Wine and herb pork shank! Bad ass! Best pork I have had. Harry the bartender was awesome and paid extra attention. Would recommend.
